| Environmental Microbiology is published jointly by the Society and Blackwell Publishing. It is a high profile vehicle for publication of the most innovative, original and rigorous research in the field, including, but not limited to: the structure, activities and communal behaviour of microbial communities; microbial interactions; population biology and clonal structure; adhesion and biofouling; growth and survival; modelling and theory; development; microbial community genetics and evolutionary processes; microbes and surfaces; responses to environmental signals and stress factors; microbial community genetics and evolutionary processes; microbially-influenced global changes; and new technological developments in microbial ecology. Electronic copies are available to all full members of the Society via the Society's online journals service - Synergy.
