"the voice of applied microbiology"
Meetings

The Society holds three regular meetings, in January, April and July. The winter meeting is a one day event that takes place in London each January with parallel sessions on topical subjects. The spring meeting is also a one day meeting taking place in April with the theme 'Broadening microbiology horizons in biomedical science'. The summer conference is held over four days during July and comprises a main symposium, a keynote lecture, student sessions, trade show, the Annual General Meeting and a lively social programme. Occasional joint ventures with other learned societies or organisations are also held on topics of mutual interest.
