Changes made to SfAM grants programme - News & Features
7 March 2017
Being able to provide grants for our members is an essential part of the work we do at SfAM, and we’re pleased to offer a wide range of funding opportunities to support our members. We have grants to help with attendance fees, travel, public engagement, and even PhD studentships.
We have recently been reviewing our grants to make sure that we’re providing the support you need. The terms of our grants have been clarified, and we’ll be redesigning the online content later this year, making it quick and easy for you to get your application in.
The new Registration Fees Grant pays for your attendance at a one-day meeting, and we have launched the new Care Giver Support Grant alongside this to help with the cost of care whilst you are attending a meeting.
The Contingency/Emergency Fund replaces our old Hardship Grant, with newly clarified terms and conditions, and the simplified Event Support Grant will cover both lectures and meetings. Applications are also currently open for a PhD Studentship.
You can find details about all the grants and how to apply here.
